main tasks:
to achieve targeted and forecasted sales goals for the storage business in the segments/regions
storage consultative selling
engage with the management of your respective country/region/segment on storage sales performance and required target account action plans
contribute to regular account and opportunity planning sessions to develop clear account straetgies, value propositions, tactics and actions to drive incremental sales of dell solutions
keep up to date with current industry trends and fully assess the impact on dell customers and potential customers
actively engage solutions partners and channel partners in cusotmer opportunities where that is appropriate to win the customer case
deliver exceptional customer experience in alignment with dell standards and ethics
must have 8-10 years outside sales experience and 3-5 years of experience focused on data management / data tiering as well as networked storage solutions and/or complex enterprise solutions
at least 5 years in a related sales role with a heavy storage focus
excellent knowledge of storage solutions
comfortable in presenting up to the ceo level
bachelor\'s dergee (or equiavlent) is prefrered
self-statrer - good intrenal motiavtion for self-dirceted time and actiivties. delviery of presenattions, and supoprt for customer proudct evalutaions or proof of conecpts, the develpoment and implemnetation of sales strategies, but is not limtied to, proudct demonsrtations, this includes, customer training.the storage sales specialist will play a key role in supporting dell\'s growing storage and services business.
