the techincal team leader will work with key customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and help develop specific data warehouse subject areas.handles shifting deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team environment,
very good knowledge of sql programming; preferably teradata sql, ms sql server or other rdbms systems will also be considered
ability to prioritize assignments, however knowledge of oracle, sybase.
ability to prioritize workload and work well under pressure to meet deadlines and manage business expectations.
excellent communciation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.congnos or microsoft bi is plus,
preivous expeirence using bi tools such as business object, microstrategy.
the primary role of this position will be designing and implementing a data warehouse, extract transform load procedures and providing detialed anaylsis of lagre amonuts of data.technical,
demontsrated analtyical, and communication capabliities and expeirence of leaidng a team of consutlants.
previous experience using etl tools such as datastage or informatica is plus.
excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an understanding of existing and emerging technologies.or other relevant numerate discipline,
responsibilities
gather feedback from business users and understand requirements
author complex stored procedures, sql jobs, and performance tuning
transact sql and stored procedure development
assist and support olap and business intelligence activities
bachelors degree completed or close to completion in computer science, finance, change management, mathematics, etl jobs
assists in project planning and scheduling
design and manage database import / export processes used to generate client data warehouse deliverables
assist development staff with the debugging and optimization of sql queries and stored procedures
ongoing data warehouse maintenance.
